Weight development in obese patients with mental illness

Introduction: Obesity and mental illness are serious health issues whose worldwide prevalence has been increasing in recent years. In particular, depression and anxiety can impair the capacity of obese patients to reduce weight, which is a necessary step in reducing the risk of life-threatening complications of obesity. Objectives: The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of baseline mental illness on weight development. For this purpose, a group of obese patients with either depression or anxious- depressive syndrome was selected. Relative change in weight over a 1-year period was selected as the main variable for comparison. One secondary objective was to compare outcomes in patients with psychiatric comorbidity by diagnosis. The second one was to assess the interaction between mental illness and female sex as predictors of poor weight loss outcomes. Methods: Data was collected in the Obesitology centre at the III. internal clinic - endocrinology and metabolism, 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and General University Hospital in Prague. The research group (n=27) was selected from patients who underwent reduction hospitalisation between 2014 and 2021. The bachelor thesis deals with stress management in the military environment. The bachelor thesis mentions various concepts that contribute to the resilience of the individual. I have used a quantitative study for my research that aims to compare soldiers with the norms of the standardized questionnaire SVF-78 in selected subscales and compare two research sets of soldiers, different ages, and determine whether the length of service shares the rate of use of positive strategy.
Integration of people with mental disorder

This Bachelor´s thesis is writen around the topic of mentally ill people and their integration into society. First part of the thesis should define classification of mental illness and different categories of mental illness and also different ways of treatement should be described so as proceses of resocialization of those who are affected back into the society. The purpose of the theoretic part is therefore a summarization of theoretical knowledge in the field of mental illness and treatement of mental illness. The second part of this thesis is practicaly focused and focuses on the research of opinions and information of the general public about mentaly ill people and the results are comprated with the statements of respondents with actual mental illness. The aim of the practical part is then sumarization of the reasearch to the topic and providing options for closer research. At the end there is an recapitulation of the informations colected while research and recomendations that can lead to the better awareness of the general public about people with mental illness.

The central nervous system consists of the brain and spinal cord and is part of the nervous system. The brain is the main body that manages and coordinates other organ sof the human body, and without the proper functioning of our body is not able to receive sinals issued. This problem manifests health problems of other organs and also influences the emergence of mental health problems. In the moder mand hectic time more people are reporting to alcohol comsuption, which is a negative on the human brain and the consequent emergence of mental illness. State of mind affects the overall human life has an impact on his performance at work, but also manifests itself in social and family life. In the case of people suffering from mental health problemscaused by excessive alcohol comsuption also suffer the immediate vicinity, including co -- workers, neighbours and family. Alcohol among licit addictive substances, however is currently is very little space devoted to informatik and awareness of the negative effects of alcohol on the emergence of psychiatric disorders, in comparison with other addictive substances.
